Understanding debt capital markets advisory
A tap increases the size of an existing bond. Preparing it requires aligning an issuer’s funding needs, timetable and market conditions. Financial advisory and arranging are distinct functions within that process.
HIG describes its support for sovereign issuers in terms of strategy, documentation and coordination with arrangers. Assessing financing terms and debt sustainability also forms part of its public-sector expertise.
